proLIGHT CNC Mills and Lathes

Overview

Light Machines (founded in 1982) was a Manchester New Hampshire based manufacturer of CNC lathes and mills. Primarily for the educational market.

Light Machines were purchased by Eshed Robotec (now RoboGroup) in 2000 and the products were then sold under the Intelitek brand.

The last of the products was discontinued around 2010. Software and manuals are still available.

The products offered features such as polymer composite bases and precision ground tables.

I created the following email group for discussion of proLIGHT mills and lathes.

The purpose of the group is to spread knowledge and preserve the original machines. As such "conversion" discussion is not acceptable. If you want to convert to Mach3/etc please refer to the many existing threads on cnczone/etc.
